Marma Science is an extremely important branch of Ayurveda. points are vital places in the body, that ‘seats life’ (Prana - life force). As any injury to these parts may lead severe pain, disability, loss function, sensation, or death, therefore, they hold place science surgery, wherein considered ‘Shalya Vishayardha’ (half entire surgery). The ancient scriptures have strictly directed against causing spots. However, recent research attempted stimulation for therapeutic benefits, with encouraging outcomes. In view mutually conflicting, importance applications Science, present study was undertaken its in-depth study. Part-1 this presented information about different aspects various / classical Indian scriptures. Part-2 gave a detailed description number marmas, their location, structures involved, classification, effect trauma, etc., as per texts, well correlation modern science. article, which part-3 study, explores use Yoga and other traditions. It observed Yogic practices had been devised primary aim stimulating specific points, healing applications. Several traditions used both martial art self-defense inflicting on opponents, technique purposes.
